10 on 10 | january 2013

I’m REALLY excited to share this new project with you! The idea behind the “10 on 10” is simple … take 10 pictures on the 10th of every month to document your day. As a mother of three crazy boys (yes, I have all boys), it’s a great alternative to the standard at-home-around-the-house-smiley-face pictures. It will be a way to look back at the year and remember the days, no matter how mundane, how “normal” they were. That’s what I want to remember for my kids. The “real” moments. The boys just as they are throughout the day.

As if I wasn’t excited enough, I am blessed to share this project with some AMAZING talent. I’ve partnered up with a group of talented photographers across the States (and Canada, eh?!) and we’ve created a blog circle, so you can click through after each post and see how the other women have shared their day. Pretty sweet, huh?

Here’s my 10 on 10 for January (and yes, I know we posted it on the 15th. We got a late start. That’s how we roll). A rainy start to the morning school drop off for my oldest (who wasn’t super keen on being photographed at school), running errands with the two littles, nap time, cabin fever, martial arts, bath time and a final dash out to Walgreens for some much needed ibuprofen for Jackson (who got his braces put on this week).
